"The Real and Only Truth About This World" Yes, Another 'Conspiracy' Video

This is a long one folks! I certainly can't back everything contained in this documentary, but it DOES give much food for thought. God bless you all.  We are on this journey together.   "If it doesn't come out in the wash, it'll come out in the rinse."

Taylor Marie, "Psychonaut" // Entheogen Content ~

Cool. I love the idea of "psychonauts" & safe and valuable uses entheogen drugs.
A good trip can be life-altering and deeply spiritual.  I don't know if I'll ever find one again...

INFEST Live Set From "Destroy LA 2013 Fest" Get Into It!! ~

This is just great! Excellent drummer, excellent sound, excellent show. Another band I didn't get into during their hey-day. Like 'em now.   Again, this fkn drummer!!  He looks to be in his late 40's, which he probably is, and he is playing on a little Fischer Price drum kit, but he's a fkn rager!  This is a bad-ass video.  The videographer has several full live sets up on YouTube.  I'm trying to watch all of his vids, and I will update this post with more of 'em.  Cheers, you bastards!

CHAIN OF STRENGTH "True Till Death" circa 1988 [Full 7" ep] & Live at Destroy LA Fest 2013

Original 7" record. Sounds like it IS ripped straight from the vinyl! Meaning it sounds fkn great! I never got too into this band when they were around. In fact I think the first time I heard them was on the Revelation Records "In Flight" CD sampler they were sending out for free, back in 1995 or so. Watching the COS reunion shows video's over the past year has been great! (That sentence doesn't sound grammatically correct.) Certainly odd to see guys in their mid-40's still tearing things up, straightedge hardcore style. I'm gonna post the live at Destroy LA Fest 2013 video here. I love the drummer & the fully sound he gives the band. A different take on the simple hardcore beat.

STRONGARM "The Advent Of A Miracle" Lyrics!!

you're my beloved and all together lovely

as a gift that cant't be bought

as if gold could favor outweigh

your meaning to me

the secrets of the heart made manifest

even beauty's priced beside thee proportioned lot the less

wishes fade as dreams break promise made

takes away your will
takes your whole heart

captive
just for one promise

sell it all for one true word to hold on to

face the shame of it all

safer to neglect than open your callused heart

piece by piece you have lost a part of yourself

you share to gain but lose at love and learn to hate yourself

more and more each day

and all the days thereafter

they labor to put back together and regain what is gone forever

wishes fade as dreams break promise made tomorrow takes

the most costly mistake is to try to change the past today
(what a void)

the filth and the shame they all wash away
for you Christ will clean the slate

only love can fill the void

when the world has taken its toll

hand in hand by your side
we'll walk down this path together

i'll take you to the place where promises will never break

to the advent of a miracle

for love is a miracle

true love is to die for
and is why i cry for you

and the pain you feel and feed can heal
if you'd just walk with me toward the light"

RVIVR Full Live Set Nov. 18, 2013 // Excellent Melodic Hardcore Punk Inside!! ♥

Great band! Hardcore & hardcorepunk. It's all the same. TERROR? BANE?! TRAPPED UNDER ICE? Hardcore. Hardcorepunk. RVIVR! It's all good to me. Some parts of RVIVR remind me of ooooold MONEEN. Weird. Weird that they sound like old MONEEN or that MONEEN was good at one point?! Both. Remember when SAVES THE DAY was good? '99....First two great albums. Then no more. None no more. 108. On top of the world or on your "Death Bed?" Death Bed, great song. Great watching live videos of that song from 1993. I was there, front & center. Always. SHELTER, 108, FALLING FORWARD, EMPATHY, CHOKEHOLD, STRIFE, INTEGRITY, it's all good. All good to me.

Secret Ancient knowledge exposed

I've watched this video several times & it never gets old. The previous video released was the same thing, only with a sped up, high pitch voice that was quite annoying. So much great info in here that I don't know where to start!? But remember, do your own investigating & take everything with a grain of salt. I know my Lord & Savior is Jesus Christ. God created everything, I'm just uncertain where the aliens and other extra-terestrials fit in, though I believe THEY DO! Pyramid builders...

Books, Books, Books...

I've been selling some of my books lately.  More will be sold in the coming weeks.  If I had the time or patience I'd be selling them online --either Amazon or Ebay.  I'm not talking about worn paperbacks or crappy generic books.  Mostly very specific topical academic & scholarly books.  Some of them I even have duplicates of!  But mostly just books that I don't find interesting anymore.  Books are really hard to sell these days.  Many of them I can only get $3 to $5 a piece.  Made $200 last week, which isn't that bad.  Probably $1000 worth of literature, but oh-well, I chose to let them go.  My buddy Jean, who owns & operates an awesome, cozy, medium sized antiquarian bookshop in Ann Arbor--Motte & Bailey--always gives me the best money for my books.  But he's only buying a really small, small amount of stuff right now.  He says business is just not good enough to throw out large amounts of cash on purchases.  I feel bad for him, 'cus his store is bad-ass and he's a nice guy, but we all know Amazon, Kindle, and other online retailers & electronic devices are encroaching on the printed book and the mom & pop bookstores.  UGGGHH!!  I hate it. Hate it.

Here's some other books recently obtained on my part:
Excellent. Monks discussing the Jesus Prayer & monasticism on Mt. Athos.  If you can
find this book, most definitely pick it up

Here we have vol.'s 1 & 2 of this now-classic book on the early

This is phenomenal!! Really heavy, thick book crammed full of primary sources
and stunning picture. Well, well worth it!  Get into it!!!

Haven't read it yet, but the reviews have been positive. We'll see.

This book was given to me by surprise. A great read, though mainly
for folks who are new to Egyptology (like me!)

Just received this one. Read through parts of it. A beautiful looking book, made sturdy
with an excellent just jacket.

Just got this one on Friday, along with the History of Christianity in Asia, vol. 1 & 2
My future ex-wife, Ann Coulter everyone! I love this woman!

WOW! A beautiful, huge & heavy book. So much great art throughout!

I've actually had this book for several years now. It's a really small
pocket sized book crammed full of loving information. Bravo! Get this
book if you can, by any means.

Excellent book about women's roles in Byzantium!

"Worms Fighting to the Death & Taking Over Human Minds!"

WOW! Check out this article on the Gnostic Warrior blog I subscribe to! This is just plain gross! Though I assume it's true, it sounds real far-fetched & out there. I already know I have a tape worm in me. Don't ask how I know, just believe me. It's gross & disgusting, yes, but I honestly think we ALL have them in us. Hmpff.....

RVIVR "Edge of Living" Live with Excellent Sound!!

RVIVR.....fuckin' awesome sing-along, catchy, DIY underground hardcorepunk band!! Someone turned me on to them about five years ago. I loaded their "Derailer" 7" record (ostensibly a record put out to benefit an indie bicycle sales/repair shop...thus the record title "Derailer") on to an old mp3 player but never listened to it. About three months later I was waiting at the bus stop and it was pouring rain, dark as hell, no jacket and of course no umbrella, when my mp3 player automatically played that 7". I was totally shocked at how good they are! This live clip has awesome sound also! Get into it!

Dead Car, Dead Cat, Dead Life: But Here I am, Still Alive & a Thorn in the Side to the World at Large~

Went outside this afternoon to my car, to pick my mama up and take her grocery shopping, and my CAR WOULDN'T START!!  Dammit!!  Borrowed my roommate's car & managed to still get my grocery shopping done as well as take mama shopping.

My cat, Mikey, is dying.  His internal organs are slowly shutting down.  I get the lovely pleasure of taking him to the Humane Society to be put down.  I hate this part of "owning" pets. Sigh.

UPDATE 3/26/2014 Two weeks ago my brother & his pal took Mikey to the Humane Society for "end of life services" as they call it. $75 to have Mikey put down. They shaved a small part of his fur in order to administer the deadly poison. The usually docile & timid cat hissed and then growled at the world & the vet. Once last "fuck you" he spit out, before giving up the ghost. R.I.P. Mikey. You were a lovely cat, except when you shit on the floor & lost the will to live. I WILL see you in heaven, no matter what any religious dogma might say about it. :(

Someday we will all "give up the ghost."  Be prepared.

There were GIANTS on the EARTH. 2014 ANCIENT GIANT DOCUMENTARY by WOLVOM...

ALL "Guilty" Song from the album "Breaking Things".....Incredible Lyrics!!

"I know I suck already
You don't even have to tell me
I'm guilty
I feel guilty all the time

I did everything you thought
I only stopped 'cause I got caught
And I'm guilty
I feel guilty all the time

She's leavin today, there's no other way
No need for me to say what was on my mind
Everything I've done has been a waste of our time
I'm just guilty
I'm guilty

Your going to leave me when you hear this song
I've been lying to you all along
And I'm guilty
I feel guilty all the time

You're innocent and I'm in shame
I don't even remember their names
And I'm guilty
I feel guilty all the time

She's leaving today, there's no other way
To keep her from crying all the time
All the lies are what made it a crime
I'm just guilty
I'm guilty

What's done is done
I don't want to defend myself
This time it's all my fault
You say you've lost all respect
'Cause I've gone against everything I've said

I'll probably end up dead and alone
Drove away the coolest girl I've known
And I'm guilty
I feel guilty all the time

She's leaving today, there's no other way
No need for me to say what was on my mind
Everything I've done has been a waste of our time
I'm just guilty
I'm guilty"

STRIFE "One Truth" A Classic Hardcore Record!!

Here we have for your listening pleasure, "One Truth" the instantly classic record put out by STRIFE in 1993 or '94. Man, I can totally remember ordering this via snail-mail (c'mon, there was no online shopping, Ebay, Amazon, etc back then. I put about $10 cash in an envelope, sent it to Victory Records in Chicago, and waited patiently for the record to arrive. Back then, mail order was 'hit-or-miss.' Not that there was a good chance of getting ripped off (but that DID happen fat too often, unfortunately), but more like having your records, 'zines, books, sweat shirts, etc, taking weeks or even months or more to arrive on your door step. Victory was a pretty big & busy company by this point. With the releases of STRIFE, SNAPCASE, & EARTH CRISIS records, Tony Victory was on top of the metallic, straightedge, vegan, scene. Anyways, about "One Truth." I came home from work one night around 1:00a.m. and saw a package from Victory, and I knew it the new STRIFE record and maybe the WORLD'S COLLIDE 7" and some other gems. Ran up three flights of stairs post haste, and carefully laid the record on the turntable. The record itself was on an awesome looking swirly colored vinyl, really thick with a great smell. (I always smell my new records and their sleeves! Does this make me a weirdo? Nah, I just wanna use all my senses when buying new shit. The sleeve itself was a gatefold, with sweet looking, hi-quality artwork, and most certainly very glossy & professional looking. But the music: WOW! I was fuckin' blown away & instantly in love with these kids. I think up to this point I owned the "My Fire Burns On" 7" from them, as well as a rare, limited run of the "Mandel Can Suck It" record. Nice. I still love me some STRIFE!! The new record is the tits, plain & simple. Finally, in 1994 I got to see them (twice) at the "A New Hope Hardcore Fest" in Madison Wisconsin. It was a great show and a great fest all around. I have so many comparable stories...
