Bob Marley's Greatest Songs Audio Mix Jah Rastafari--

It's always the right time to listen to Bob Marley! Bob was half White & half Black. His White British father abandoned him & his mother because he was a coward and unwilling to fulfill his manly duties. Thank God Bob didn't inherit that character defect from him.  Bob could've chosen to hate White folks and hold a permanent resentment against the entire White race, as a descendant of slaves and also having a White father who dipped out on him.  I most definitely do not think he did whatsoever. In fact, he refrained from degrading & belittling talk about White people, vis a vis the White people alive today who abhor the idea of slavery and of course have never owned slaves. That wasn't his m.o. He wanted to elevate Black men & women, not stomp down on other racial groups. He wanted peace, unity, and the dignity of every man and woman on earth to be recognized & respected. He wanted a just world where common sense and justice prevail. He never asked for nor talked about "special rights" or anything outrageous or beyond the pale.
I want the same things for everyone. The Black race, White race, the Asian race, every ethnic & racial group is a child of God. We should love each other even in situations where we don't LIKE each other.
Of course, I don't know his private talk or everything he said, and he is a human being like everyone else, a man who often fell short, has faced temptation, and experienced anger.  Nobody should be judged on things they may have said in anger or in jest or because they had bad information. Bob Marley's good far outweighed any bad charter defects or thinking he may have had.
He brought people together and encouraged people to NOT use violence! His music was his weapon! But his music, when it hit, you felt no pain at all.
In the end, he joined the Ethiopian Orthodox Church and re-converted to Christianity!! God bless your soul. I have no doubt that you are with the Father in heaven.
R.I.P. Bob Marley

One of the best mixes here! But really, how could you go wrong with a Bob Marley mix?!

KNUCKLEDUST "Songs of Sacrifice" Full Length--

This is a couple of years old at this point, but still very new to me.  I saw another post on YT from El Guapo TV, of an INDECISION/KNUCKLEDUST split 12"/CD.  That was pretty sweet so I found this record and I'm really diggin' it!  Direct from London, England, hard as nails hardcore laced with metal and plenty of mosh parts to go around!!  The vocal delivery sounds like a cross between FIRST BLOOD & BLOOD FOR BLOOD!!  Nothing particularly ground breaking here, it's just tough, heavy-ass hardcore done the way it's supposed to be done...  Check it out! ♠️♠️♠️

Great Quote from Thomas Paine ~

"I love the man that can smile in troubles - that can gather strength from distress, and grow brave by reflection. It is the business of little minds to shrink; but he, whose heart is firm, and whose conscience approves his conduct, will pursue his principles unto death."

"I dwell not upon the vapours of imagination, I bring reason to your ears; and in language as plain as A,B,C, hold up truth to your eyes."

Watched That Awesome "This is CLASH TV" DVD--

"This is CLASH TV" is one of the BEST put together bootleg DVD's ever made about The CLASH!!  Chock full of live CLASH footage from all era's of the time together, including: Interviews from UK television shows, segments of classic concerts, and the great interview on the Tom Snyder Show in 1981!!  Tons more stuff on there!  Picked it up a few years ago, or given to me as a gift, can't quite remember.  Oh yeah, it's got their performance from Saturday Night Live in 1982!!  Hot damn this thing is rad!!
In other news: I got the job I interviewed for today!  Yay for me!  I'm so stoked to be working at Zingerman's Bakehouse for the holiday season!!  And who knows, it may turn into a permanent full-time gig.  I didn't know it at the time, but today was the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi, whose name I took at my Confirmation into the Catholic Church!!  Thank you for your help, St. Francis.
God is good! ♥♥♥

"Mystery of the Man Who Fell to Earth" Short BBC Story--

This is just plain weird with a large dose of sad. African man falls from a passenger airline & lands in a British street. Apparently he was a stowaway in the plane's landing gear compartment and when the plane was preparing to land & the wheels lowered, he fell to earth. WOW.

" Clampdown " by The CLASH! Great Fan Made Video!!! Get Into It!

Awesome homemade video for "Clampdown" by The CLASH, "The Only Band That Matters!" Joe Strummer died ten years ago, as most of you know. If you don't know then you were never a big CLASH fan. This song is from the "London Calling" album that came out in Dec. 1979, but made it onto many lists for "greatest album of the 1980's!" I would say that 'London Calling' is one of my favorite albums ever! Actually, anything The CLASH did is my favorite!
